Don't just be a superhero, be relatable in your image content

One of the best ways thought leaders can present teachable moments is by talking about the the obstacles, setbacks, doubts and failures that led to this lesson.

It not only inspires their followers, but it also makes them relatable and endearing to them.

Complementing these stories with portraits that present you in a candid, reflective and pensive moment will help cement home the message you’re sending.

Although you’ve undoubtedly been posting a ton of photos celebrating your various professional and personal “wins” (I know since I see them all over my feeds everyday), powerfully dramatic portraits such as these help provide a moody visual that helps reinforce your relflective narrative.

You’re now painting a more complete picture of who you are - your motivations, passions, drive and resilience - and your journey to discovering who you serve and why.  

These stories of survival and struggle give people hope.  It lets them know that even the greatest minds of our time have had their asses kicked many times on their way to being recognized as an authority in their industry.

Be relatable to your followers with your social content, and that will give them more reason to love you more.
