The professional shots. The event photos. The random things you snapped because something caught your eye.
Well, now you've got something to do with them.
Image-First helps you explore the memories, experiences, observations, and ideas that come up when you look at your photographs. You can uncover something worth sharing—a useful lesson, a new perspective, or simply something that helps people get to know you better.
You don't need a story figured out before you start. That's the whole point.
First, get Image-First into ChatGPT or Claude. Choose your platform and how you want to work. We'll show you the instructions that fit your setup.
Where would you like to use Image-First?

Already have a Project where you work on content or ideas? No need to start over.
One file. That's all you need to begin.
Open the conversation where you installed Image-First. Copy the instruction below, paste it into that chat, and send it. When Image-First asks, upload a photograph.
It could be a professional portrait, something from an event, or a snapshot from your phone. You don't even need to be in it.
Don't worry about why you chose it. See what the conversation unlocks.
Use the Image-First Engine file in this Project to guide our conversation. I'm ready to start with a photograph.

Image-First works without a lengthy setup. But if you'd like it to better understand how you communicate and what matters in your world, these two optional conversations can help. If your Project already knows you well, skip what you've already done.
Give Image-First a better sense of how you communicate. Share writing samples, talk it through, or do both. You'll build a short profile you can correct, test, and keep.
Help Image-First understand your work, the people you serve, your experiences, and personal interests. Share material, talk it through, or review context it can already access.
Neither exercise is required before your first photograph. You can come back to these whenever they're useful.
A few things worth knowing once you get rolling.
Stay in the same chat while it's working. Upload another photo and tell Image-First you want to explore it. You don't need to start over with every image.
An Idea Nugget is a short note about a thought, observation, or story you uncovered but aren't ready to explore yet. Ask Image-First to capture it as an Idea Nugget. Then copy the note and save it wherever you keep ideas. It won't save it somewhere else automatically.
When a chat gets long, starts losing track of details, or you simply want a fresh start, ask Image-First for a Session Handoff. It gathers the important ideas, facts, and decisions into a summary you can review and paste into a new chat. Reattach the photograph if needed.
Not every photograph will lead to a story. Start with one that catches your attention and see where it takes you.
