I first met Joel as a guest on his podcast a couple years ago. After the hour long conversation, he mentioned that he, one day, would like to hire me to capture photos for his own personal brand.
Sure enough, he was true to his word, :)
After determining that it would be best to shoot in his town, I flew up to the Buffalo/Niagra area and we mapped out a visual storytelling strategy that included new headshots, working photos of various types, as well as some photos that show other areas of his life, such as exercising and family life.
