It’s another to capture a moment.

Anytime that the subject of virtual photography comes up in conversation, I am hit with this question:

“Why do I need virtual photos when I can simply snap a couple cameraphone photos and call it a day?”

My answer involves a question:

“Do you want to simply chronicle the event or capture the sentiment of the moment?”

During my conversation with Jessica Rasdall on her Speak To Scale podcast, we dove more in-depth into the difference between these two options and how they both affect the way an expert is perceived by their audience.

During our conversation, we also chatted about other topics related to persuasive visual storytelling, including high-quality, self-portraits, branded lifestyle portraits and book photography.
