"It's rounding out the story."

Why are lifestyle portraits so important?

It rounds out your story and adds texture to the images.

I was on the phone the other day with a prospective client who just did a studio portrait session with another photographer.

He said that while he was happy with how he looked in the pictures, he felt like there was something missing in his image content portfolio.

Without reviewing one photo in his image portfolio, I agreed with him.

The reason is simple: if you simply post studio portraits, you’re not telling the whole story.

What do I mean by that?

Well, rather than having me wax poetic in 1500-2000 words on the subject, allow my client, colleague and personal branding magician, Pia Silva, explain it to you:

See the difference that capturing image content outside of a studio can make?

Granted, Pia and I have worked together on several occasions and some of those sessions were studio-focused.

But, the need for image content outside of the studio is inherent.

Turning to you…

How’s your image content portfolio looking these days?
