NYC Branded Lifestyle Photographer - Blog

NYC Branded Lifestyle Portrait Photography Blog | Hi, I'm John DeMato, and I collaborate with thought leaders to create powerful, purposeful and authentic images. This is my blog where I talk all about the magic behind the portraits we create.

This is why I write so much s**t!

It’s amazing when your clients validate your efforts...

...especially when you weren’t fishing for a compliment, :)

For many speakers, authors and coaches, the idea of dedicating time every week or month to creating content not only is a challenge, but, they find it hard to justify the effort.

  • “Whose really reading?”

  • “What’s the point of posting so much when I barely get any likes or comments?”

  • “I’d rather spend my time figuring out something with a better ROI.”

For those of you naysayers out there, I present to you an excerpt from a longer conversation with my friend and client, Anthony, who had this to say about my content - specifically, my blog:

Although the rest of this conversation was spent talking about the branded lifestyle portraits we created together, I was grateful - and pleasantly surprised - that he shared this bit of magical information into the mix.

I didn’t even know he read my blog…

And that’s precisely my point.

You don’t know who is consuming your posts, so, put your work out there and let those who follow your every step quietly continue to be nurtured by your magic until it’s time for them to pick up the phone and hire you for your specialized attention.

Think about Anthony’s words the next time you want to push off writing a blog article or a social post because you think no one cares enough to read it…

…someone’s reading it, whether you know it or not, :)

PS - For those of you who aren’t in the know, I mail out these blogs 3x a week, and lemme tell you, they’re a real party, so, if you’d like to get in on this, sign up for it here and I’ll throw in a free gift for you, because I care, :)
